Job Description:

Summary We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiological procedures and basic CT procedures in accordance with approved techniques and standards. This role involves assisting radiologists in fluoroscopy and special procedure examinations, as well as performing administrative duties as set forth by policies and procedures. Location: Lawrence Ave Schedule: Per Diem, 7.5hr shifts, Variable Attributes

• NYS license and certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Preferred: One year work experience in a hospital setting Responsibilities
  • Perform Radiology and CT procedures utilizing the principles and knowledge of anatomy, positioning, and Radiologic techniques
  • Assist radiologists in the performance of Radiology interventional procedures and provide appropriate images for interpretation
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational guidelines for patient/staff screening, Radiology safety, and provide Radiologic safety education to relevant individuals
  • Participate in all QA/QC procedures as designated and maintain standards of these programs Union: 1199-721 - LPN & Technical (CPH)Note: Not all per diem roles are union eligible Physical Requirements: Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting Pay Range: $28.44 - $41.31The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
