Ask us about a sign on bonus plus student loan reimbursement!Call is required on a rotating basis including holidays and weekends.3-9P 3 days a week and 3-10:30P 2 days a week.DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONPerform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and ingenuity. Requires initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis. May be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, or Operations Manager. Proper care of the client in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required. May be responsible for assigned areas to assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel as determined by Operations Manager or Lead Technologist. Practices infection control and body substance isolation in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times. Demonstrates proper operation of PACS, HIS and RIS computer systems. Demonstrates ability to operate and trouble shoot CR, DR and PACs applications. Attends annual mandatory education to include blood borne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation. Maintains department competencies as requiredPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)Experience:Minimum of Student Training.Education and Training:Must have completed formal AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program.License, Certification & Registration:MALIC - Massachusetts Radiology LicenseCPR -CPR Required.ARRT(RTR) - Registered Technologist RadiographyOther Requirements:Ability to function independently and proficiently in a high stress, work intensive environment. Attendance at all mandatory education is required.
