Job Description:

Works in cooperation with nursing staff and under the direction of the emergency physicians providing timely, efficient and effective acute care of patients utilizing a team model. Performs care including assessments, treatments and medication administration to emergency department patients utilizing skills based on the National Scope of Practice for Paramedics.



Minimum Education

• Completion of accredited paramedic education program.Minimum Work Experience

  • 3 years as a pre-hospital care provider required, experience as a Critical Care Paramedic preferred. - - - -
  • Experience with immobilization and stabilization procedures a plus.Required Licenses/Certifications

    • IV therapy skills. - - - -
    • Oxygen and ventilation administration skills. - - - -
